Crazy Simple Nerf Tactical Light Mod.

I found a really cheap, but powerful flashlight at Wal-Mart for $3 that fits inside the nerf tactical light housing perfectly. I love how easy and cheap this little mod was.

  2. It would be even cooler if you could keep the bottom of the casing on somehow.

  3. Ummm, how do you change the batteries?

  4. Change batteries by unscrewing back of flashlight and sliding out battery pack. And Im working on a better one for myself where the casing is closed and the original switch is preserved

  5. Nice mod! I actually pass the Nerf tactical lights on to my young cousin and I pick up rail mounts from Cheaper Than Dirt:

A lot of the mounts they sell, specifically those designed for airguns and .22s, fit the Nerf Blasters well with little to no modification.

And just a final note: Home Depot has rubberized 6 LED Ultra Bright flashlights for 98¢.

Our version of this tactical light mod. Featuring the same 9 LED light system but actually wired into the switch of the tactical light. We also went ahead and swapped out the lame 4.5v power system with a 9v version. Accessible through the battery door.

Did we mention thing puts out SOLID UV light?
