I just got in my Sharp Shot from the 2011 dart tag line and have every intention of overhauling it. Even though it's a reverse plunger system, it is nice, and I enjoy the feel of it (I have large hands). The Review video is below, and the mod video will be added to this post soon. The custom paintjob and detailing and LEDS I hope to do will be a separate post.
Mod Tutorial:
Picked mine up yesterday and did a spring replacement as opposed to a nickel stack.
ReplyDeleteGetting similar distance with Whistlers and Taggers but need to go in and work on the seal a little more to make it perfect.
Can't wait too see what you come up with for cosmetics.
Is the plunger inter-changeble with a mavericks?
ReplyDeleteHey Drac,
ReplyDeletesry, what kind of grease did You use? I'm German and didn't quite get the first part of the word, so I don't know what to google for;)
Wanna-be, it's the same style, but the catch is located in a different spot than on the Mav plunger.
ReplyDeleteThank you, but I can change the catch location, is it the same diameter?
ReplyDeleteI use lithium grease, and it seesm to be the same diameter.
ReplyDeleteHey Drac,
ReplyDeleteYou think a 25lbs spring mod would work on the sharp shot? Also, how exactly do you get streamlines to work in it? I didn't really understand what you said in your cosmetic mod about cutting the peg in half or something. Shouldn't have drilling the AR out also remove the peg?
do i get this or the quick 16
ReplyDeleteIt feels good to feature much enlightening and unique articles on your websites.
